Masseto Toscana IGT 2018

Often called the 'Pétrus of Italy,' Masseto is produced entirely from Merlot on a unique geological site in Bolgheri, Tuscany. The 2018 vintage is intense ruby in color with a fully ripe, expressive nose of dark cherries, plums, vanilla, and cocoa. The palate is broad, rich, and dense with extraordinary silkiness, a rare tannic smoothness, and a long, elegant finish with a delicate hint of cocoa.
