Roberto Lucarelli RL Limited Edition Colli Pesaresi Sangiovese Riserva D.o.c. 2019

Sangiovese grown on the higher slopes of the Pesaro hills gives this Riserva an elegant structure and deep character. The nose gathers cherry and ripe red berries, framed by dried herbs, woodland scents and fine spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with lively yet balanced acidity and silky, well-integrated tannins leading to a long, clean finish. Careful use of oak adds texture and dimension, underlining the variety's classic elegance. An excellent partner for grilled beef, rack of lamb or rich pasta dishes, and well suited to a few more years of cellaring.
