Roberto Lucarelli 'Goccione' Sangiovese Colli Pesaresi 2020

A silky, intensely ruby Sangiovese from the rolling slopes of Cartoceto in the Colli Pesaresi DOC, Marche. Ripe dark berries rise on the nose with cinnamon and spicy nuances; the palate is warm, powerful yet soft, with polished tannins and a long, elegant finish. The wine matured for 18–24 months in tonneaux, adding structure and depth, and the 2020 vintage's 15% alcohol supports the ripe fruit. Ready to enjoy today, yet with several years of ageing potential.
