Deep ruby in the glass, Bric dël Fiasc opens with restrained aromatics that build to rose, red cherry and ripe raspberry. Underneath sit notes of stony minerality, tobacco, tea leaf and sweet spice. The palate is concentrated yet poised, with firm, fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity driving length. Hints of orange zest, licorice and a ferrous snap shape the finish. The 2020 shows the site’s hallmark tension and power. It is compact today and structured for ageing. Pair with braised beef, truffle risotto or aged hard cheeses.
