A concentrated and incisive Barolo that captures the estate’s refined touch. The bouquet layers cherry pit, rose petal, violet and dried spice with hints of tobacco and licorice. The palate is powerful yet precise, built on fine-grained Nebbiolo tannins and lively acidity that drive a long, savory finish with tea leaf and mineral accents. The 2014 vintage shows classical proportions and poise, benefits from a short decant, and has the structure to improve further in bottle.
