Paolo Scavino Barolo Bricco Ambrogio DOCG 2020

Sourced from the Bricco Ambrogio cru in Roddi, the 2020 shows a poised, perfumed take on Barolo. Aromas of red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry mingle with violet, licorice, mint and a hint of cedar. The palate is medium to full in weight with fine, powdery tannins and lively acidity, giving focus and drive. The finish is long and stony, with lingering red fruit and savory herb complexity. Already inviting, yet built with the balance and structure to evolve gracefully over the next 8–12 years.
