Paolo Conterno Langhe Nebbiolo “A Mont” DOC 2015

A classic Langhe Nebbiolo from the Ginestra slopes of Monforte d'Alba, offering ripe cherry and wild strawberry aromas joined by rose petals, delicate spice and dried herbs. The palate is straight and elegant, with a silky yet powerful tannic structure and lively acidity that keeps the fruit focused and leads to a long, slightly tobacco-tinged finish. Brief ageing in large oak casks adds texture while letting Nebbiolo's layered character shine. An excellent match for ragù, grilled meat and medium-aged cheeses; decanting in youth opens the aromas more broadly.
