Paolo Conterno Barolo Ginestra Riserva DOCG 2008

An elegantly complex red of deep character, reflecting Barolo's classic terroir and traditional winemaking. Deep ruby with slightly orange rims that point to its mature age. The nose opens richly with red berries such as raspberry and cherry, along with light floral and spicy undertones that give a complex, layered aroma. The palate is structured, with well-balanced tannins and fresh acidity that allow the wine to age and develop for a long time. The finish is long and elegant, recalling dried fruit and fine oak and vanilla nuances. Excellent with rich meat dishes and baked cheeses.
