Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac 2018

Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild is the second wine of Château Mouton Rothschild, made from grapes from selected younger vines and crafted with the same meticulous care as the grand vin. It is fermented in the estate’s oak vats and matured in oak barrels, expressing the richness and elegance of a great Pauillac.

The 2018 vintage is a blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc. The wine shows aromas of ripe raspberry, cherry and redcurrant, with notes of white pepper and liquorice. On the palate, it is ample, full-bodied and rich, with dense texture, substantial tannins and a generous finish.
