A silky, precisely structured red showing ripe cherries, raspberries and delicate violet notes, with forest floor and fine spice in the background. The palate is juicy and taut, with Burgundy's lively yet balanced acidity; the tannins are fine and silky and the finish long and mineral. The warm 2022 vintage adds ripeness and roundness to the fruit while preserving the cool line of the higher Hautes-Côtes de Nuits vineyards. An excellent partner for poultry, veal and mushroom dishes, and delicious slightly chilled on its own.
