Pale golden in colour. The nose opens with ripe white orchard fruit and pear, layered with delicate notes of toasted nut and gentle vanilla and backed by a fresh citrus lift and subtle mineral undertone. On the palate it is dry and medium-to-full, the texture silky and the acidity bright, providing a lively backbone. Oak influence is restrained and supportive, allowing the fruit and stony mineral tones to remain central. The finish is long and clean; this Premier Cru will pair very well with roasted white meats, rich fish in cream sauces or aged soft cheeses.
