The François Mikulski Meursault Premier Cru Les Genevrières 2020 is a finely layered, well-structured Meursault. The bouquet unfolds with ripe orchard fruits — apple and pear — threaded with gentle pastry and toasted almond notes, while a clear mineral undertow and subtle floral hints add depth. On the palate it shows a medium-to-full body, lively but integrated acidity, and a supportive oak presence; the domaine ages a portion in new oak (about 20%) which provides spice and textural lift without overpowering the fruit. The finish is long, slightly saline and almond-tinged, offering immediate pleasure and very good medium-term aging potential.
