The nose is layered and refined, opening with lemon oil and white blossom, then evolving to ripe pear and stone fruit, almond cream, subtle vanilla and a cool, chalk-driven minerality. The palate is concentrated yet impeccably poised, with a silken texture and a precise, dry line. A saline, iodine-tinged core underscores the site’s pedigree. Acidity is fine and incisive, carrying a remarkably long, powdery-chalk finish that resonates for minutes. A benchmark Grand Cru white Burgundy that will unfold beautifully with bottle age; best from mid-term maturity onward and capable of 10–15+ years in a good cellar.
