Champagne Lacourte-Godbillon Terroirs d'Ecueil Premier Cru

The signature cuvée of a small grower in the Premier Cru village of Écueil in the Montagne de Reims, clearly expressing the character of the area's sandy clay terroir. A blend of 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay gives ripe red-berry notes, lemony tension and precise minerality. The Extra Brut style (dosage around 3 g/l) and at least 24 months on the lees keep the wine both taut and creamy, with a delicate salinity on the finish. A superb aperitif and an excellent partner for oysters, shellfish and poultry.
