A sweet Rheingau Riesling from the Oestricher Doosberg VDP.GROSSE LAGE vineyard, impressing with concentrated ripe apricot, white peach and candied citrus, framed by delicate florals and wet-stone minerality. The palate is silky and rich, yet precise and balanced thanks to lively acidity; the sweetness never turns heavy but carries the flavour through a long, clean finish. A hint of botrytis adds honey and wax nuances that deepen over time. Ideal with foie gras, blue cheese and fruit-based desserts, yet superb on its own as a meditation wine. Good ageing potential promises further layers of caramel and dried fruit.
