2014 brought challenging weather to Bordeaux, yet Château Figeac still created an exceptionally elegant, balanced grand cru. The bouquet opens with ripe blackcurrant, plum and light tobacco, followed by delicate cedar and graphite. The palate is silky, medium to full-bodied, with balanced acidity and silky tannins. With a long finish revealing truffle, black tea and minerality, this wine reflects Figeac's unique terroir and classic Saint-Émilion elegance. Ideal for ageing another ten years or more, yet already a superb experience today.
